The Alabama Crimson Tide returned to their dominant ways over the weekend with a 41-9 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Tide jumped out to a 24-0 lead at halftime and looked strong all night long. RB Damien Harris provided some early fireworks with a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the game. Alabama rushed for 308 yards in the win while the Hogs were limited to 27 yards rushing and 227 total yards.

It was a nice bounce-back performance from the Tide after a bit of a scare against Texas A&M. Alabama looked good, and the Alabama coaching staff named 10 players as Players of the Week for their performance against the Hogs.

The Offensive Players of the Week for Alabama are RB Damien Harris, WR Calvin Ridley, and OL Jonah Williams. Harris was electric once again for the Tide and opened the scoring with a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the game. Harris finished with 125 yards and 2 TDs. Williams did phenomenal work on the offensive line and was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. Ridley had a team-high four catches for 51 yards in the win.

The Defensive Players of the Week for Alabama are LB Rashaan Evans, LB Shaun Dion Hamilton, and DB Ronnie Harrison. The defense turned in an incredible effort by limiting the Hogs rushing attack to 27 yards for the game. Harrison recorded 10 tackles and pass breakup for the Tide while Evans and Hamilton combined for 12 total tackles, 3.5 TFL, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.

The Special Teams Players of the Week for Alabama are P JK Scott, K Andy Pappanastos, RB Josh Jacobs, and DB Daniel Wright. Scott posted a 43.7 average on three punts with two of his punts landing inside the 20-yard line. Scott also served on kickoffs with four of his eight kickoffs going for a touchback. Pappanastos was a perfect 7 for 7 on his kicks with five extra points and two field goals. Wright and Jacobs both added a tackle on kick coverage for the Tide.

Alabama will now get set to take on Tennessee at home. Saturday’s kickoff is set for 3:30 pm EST on CBS.
