Alabama has full confidence in Jalen Milroe to succeed should he start this Saturday against Texas A&M.

The Tide lost starting quarterback Bryce Young last week after exiting early with a shoulder injury. As of now, Young is day-to-day, leaving Milroe in charge of the offense until further notice.

Offensive guard Emil Ekiyor explained why the team is confident regardless of who lines up under center.

“As an offense, we fully support everybody who is out there, no matter who it is,” offensive guard Emil Ekiyor said, via 247Sports. “Jalen, we all see him make plays in the game, make plays in practice, we expect him to do the same thing while he’s out there. Everyone on the offense has the utmost confidence in Jalen, all the coaches have the confidence in Jalen. That’s what’s so great about Alabama. One great player goes down, another great one comes in.”

Alabama kicks off against Texas A&M at 8 p.m. EST on CBS Saturday.
