Good news, Josh Jacobs is doing just fine.
After posting about his nervousness heading into Friday morning surgery, Jacobs later posted an update revealing his surgery was a success. Apparently, Jacobs had been playing for much of the season with a broken ankle, which would make sense given his decline in touches last season compared to his breakout freshman campaign.
The sophomore rushed for 284 yards and a single score last season. In addition, he caught 13 passes for 168 yards and another two scores. He did not register a stat against Clemson but he did rush the ball three times against Georgia. His freshman season, Jacobs had 567 yards and four scores on the ground.
Jacobs eagerly shared the news on Twitter following the stressful event. It appears the worst is over for Jacobs as he helps prepare to help Alabama defend its title in 2018.
