Alabama gave new contracts to every assistant coach except the coordinators, and the Board of Trustees released the details on Friday afternoon.

The only 2 who didn’t see refreshed contracts were the coordinators Pete Golding, who signed a three-year deal last year and Bill O’Brien who’ll enter the final year of his contract this season, AL.com reported.

The 10 Crimson Tide assistants are set to make $8.235 million in 2022, up from the $7.825 million from the 2021 season. The coordinators remain the highest paid with Golding set to make $1.6 million in 2022 followed by O’Brien at $1.1 million.

Here is a breakdown of the compensation and raises:

  • Offensive line coach Eric Wolford will get $900,000 with the Crimson Tide after making $450,000 last year at Kentucky, according to USA Today’s database of salaries
  • Linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Coleman Hutzler is set to make $495,000 this year and $595,000 in 2023 after getting $300,000 last year at Ole Miss.
  • New tight ends coach Joe Cox will make $325,000 this year after getting $90,000 a year ago at Charlotte.
  • Defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson’s deal calls for an $800,000 salary but since he came from Miami, a private school not subject to open records laws, it’s unclear how much of a raise he got.
  • Tide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins got the biggest bump among those returning. He’ll make $850,000 next season after getting $575,000 last year.
  • Other returners — Charles Kelly, Freddie Roach and Robert Gillespie — got between $25,000 and $30,000 more for 2022.
  • David Ballou, the director of sports performance, got a significant raise to $700,000 for the next two seasons. He made $525,000 last year after getting $500,000 in his first season in 2020.
