OXFORD, Miss. — University of Alabama junior running back Kenyan Drake sustained a gruesome injury during the second quarter of Saturday’s game at Ole Miss.

Drake had just re-entered the game after sustaining an injury on the opening kickoff, and caught a short pass on third-and-8 at the Alabama 32. After getting the first down he was caught from behind and spun around while also talking a low helmet hit .

Drake immediately grabbed his leg, which was bent in an unnatural position, in obvious agony. He eventually left the field on a cart.

CBS only showed the replay twice.

For the season Drake has 22 carries for 112 yards and four rushing touchdowns, to go with four receptions for 149 yards and two more TDs.
