Alabama is in the process of replacing OC Bill O’Brien, who left after 2 years in Tuscaloosa to take over as the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots.

The search will be a nationwide affair, with coach Nick Saban looking for the best fit to lead the Alabama offense into the future.

Per Chris Fetters of 247Sports, the Crimson Tide are meeting with Washington OC Ryan Grubb about the position at Alabama:

Grubb spent the 2022 season at Washington, leading the Huskies to the No. 2 offense in the country in total yards (516.2 yards per game) and the No. 7 scoring offense (39.7 points per game).

Prior to his time with the Huskies, Grubb was at Fresno State from 2017 to 2021, serving as the Bulldogs’ OC from 2019-21. We’ll see if he ends up in Tuscaloosa this fall or if he returns to Washington to continue his career with the Huskies.
