Five-star 2017 WR Jerry Jeudy has been committed to Alabama since July.

However, recently, the Florida native was considering staying closer to home and gave a long look to Mark Richt’s Miami program.

On Monday afternoon, though, Jeudy announced on Twitter that he was staying firm in his commitment to the Crimson Tide:

According to the 247Sports composite, Jeudy is the No. 4 wide receiver in the class of 2017 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

In addition to Alabama, SEC powerhouses like Tennessee, LSU, Georgia and Florida also targeted Jeudy during his recruiting process.
