The Kentucky Wildcats have struggled recently, dropping their last four games to fall near the bubble of the NCAA Tournament picture.

However, the Wildcats are 13-2 at home, and they still have a roster loaded with talent, so Alabama’s trip to Rupp Arena on Saturday afternoon won’t be easy.

When discussing the game, though, Alabama coach Avery Johnson said he is confident in his team’s ability and added that the Crimson Tide are too young of a team to be intimidated by the legacy coach John Calipari has created in Lexington (via AL.com):

“I think this is as good of a chance as we’re going to have,” Johnson said Friday. “We have five freshmen and Daniel Giddens and they just play ball, man. And they don’t really care at the moment where we play. I just don’t think they’re going to be in awe of anything like that. They’re just going up there to play basketball.”

Alabama needs to make sure it focuses on the task at hand and doesn’t get sidetracked by the game at Auburn coming up on Wednesday.

If star guard Collin Sexton and the other young Tide players get going early, though, Saturday could be another long day for Kentucky. Saturday’s game tips off at 2 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on CBS.
