What Nick Saban has accomplished as a collegiate coach is truly remarkable, and every now and then a statistic pops up that helps fans realize how dominant his run as a coach has been.

This time Pick Six Previews provided the incredible stat that an Alabama win in the National Championship Game means every recruit under Saban since 1999 will have won a national championship. It should be noted that the stat is for every player signed under Saban, not just for players recruited, but the point remains the same.

This run goes back to Saban’s time at LSU when he won the championship with the Tigers in 2003. Les Miles would also win a championship with LSU in 2007 with a number of players from Saban’s 2004 recruiting class.

Saban’s first national championship with Alabama came in 2009 during his third year with the Tide. His run on championships and recruiting since that time has been special. A win on Monday would give Alabama its second title in three years and is the third straight appearance in the National Championship Game for the Tide.

It truly would be a remarkable feat for Saban in this era of college football, but the Crimson Tide still have to get past Georgia to make it happen.
