Alabama QB Mac Jones throws a beautiful deep ball. No one is denying that. He proved it time and time again while leading the Crimson Tide to the 2020 national championship.

But, at Alabama’s second Pro Day on Tuesday, perhaps Jones was a bit amped up to be throwing in front of a couple of notable NFL coaches?

The San Francisco 49ers recently traded up to the No. 3 spot, presumably to draft a quarterback. Therefore, it was notable that 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan was in attendance. New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick was also there, as the Pats could be in the mix for a Round 1 quarterback.

So, naturally, their faces were the source of much scrutiny after a couple of overthrows from Jones:

Here’s just a portion of the great reaction to Belichick and Shanahan on Twitter:

How will this affect Jones’ draft stock? We won’t know for sure until April 29, when the first round is held live in Cleveland.
