You know the old saying about if you want to find out the truth about something just follow the money.

Well according to Bovada Sportsbook, the biggest money is now on Alabama to win the national championship. This week’s updated odds has the Crimson Tide at 13/2 to win college football’s first playoff, with Auburn, Florid State and Oklahoma at 15/2.

Like everyone else Vegas is very high on the SEC West with Texas A&M having gone from 66 to 1 in July to 12/1, and Mississippi State has shot up from 150 to 1 in to 40 to 1.

It also updated its odds on the Heisman Trophy, with Texas A&M Kenny Hill second to Oregon’s Marcus Mariota, Georgia running back Todd Gurley fourth, and Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott fifth. It bumped Crimson Tide junior wide receiver Amari Cooper to 20 to 1.
