The Alabama Crimson Tide is just flexing on everyone else for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

Late Wednesday night, 5-star running back Camar Wheaton committed to Alabama over Oklahoma, giving the Tide its 7th 5-star signee or commit for the recruiting cycle. If you’ll remember last year, Saban flipped Oklahoma running back commit Jase McClellan, too.

With the addition for Wheaton, Alabama is putting one of the best recruiting class of all-time together.

Wheaton, from Garland, Texas, is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 overall running back and the state of Texas’ No. 4 overall prospect for the 2021 cycle, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Alabama special teams coach Jeff Banks was Wheaton’s primary recruiter.
