Since Alabama’s victory over Ole Miss last Saturday, Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is the odds-on favorite to take home the Heisman.

On the season, Young has thrown 17 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions.

But who will challenge Young for the Heisman? According to Bill Bender of The Sporting News, who made an appearance on WJOX radio’s “Three Man Front” on Thursday, there are several candidates who are in the race now as well:

“If Bryce Young keeps doing what’s doing, he’ll be fine, he’ll be in that mix,” said Bender.

“TreVeyon Henderson is the one to watch at Ohio State, he continues to pile up some numbers.”

Bender also mentioned running back Bijan Robinson of Texas and he thinks Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral isn’t totally out of the picture, either.

“I don’t know if Matt Corral is out that was his chance (the Alabama game) to get to the Heisman level.”
