Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder is ready to face off against Alabama in the Cotton Bowl, as the Bearcats will put their undefeated season on the line in the College Football Playoff.

“We want to play the best teams,” Ridder told the media, per Fox 19. “At the end of the day, football is football and when that ball goes down, Alabama should be thinking they’re going to get out best and we know that we’re going to get Alabama’s best.”

The Bearcats won the American Conference Championship on Saturday against Houston to improve their record to 13-0 on the season, and they are the only undefeated team left in major college football.

The Bearcats joined Alabama, Michigan and Georgia in the final playoff rankings. Michigan and Georgia will square off in the Orange Bowl, and the winners of those 2 games will meet in Indianapolis for the national championship on Jan. 10.
