Radio buzz this week has centered around Ohio State’s cupcake schedule the rest of the way, a slate littered with double-digits underdogs with only one potential speed bump in November.

Even national media personalities are siding with SEC coaches who deem the Buckeyes having an unfair advantage in terms of getting to the College Football Playoff.

Shock jock Clay Travis appeared on Colin Cowherd’s new Fox Sports 1 radio show on Friday and gave an interesting take on the SEC-Big Ten schedule comparison.

“We’ve bought into this idea of perfection as demonstrating that one team is better than the other,” Travis said. “Alabama with an 11-2 record against that schedule is every bit as good as 13-0 Ohio State against their schedule.”

Arkansas coach Bret Bielema tossed Ohio State through the ringer this week during the SEC coaches teleconference when he reiterated the league’s depth and acknowledged that his team would face eight nationally-ranked teams the rest of the way.
