Domani Jackson (Santa Ana, Ca.) announced Friday he would be heading to the USC Trojans over the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Jackson opted to not sign during the first day of the Early Signing Period Wednesday; however, he announced his commitment Friday.

Jackson was down to USC and Alabama, and he ended up staying home in California and play for new head coach Lincoln Riley. Riley made Jackson a top target as soon as he took the Trojans job.

Jackson is the nation’s No. 2 cornerback and the state of California’s No. 1 overall prospect for the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Alabama had an interesting day on the recruiting trail Friday. It lost out on the 5-star Jackson, and top tight end commit Jaleel Skinner flipped his commitment from Alabama to Miami. Skinner, being from South Florida, elected to stay home, too.

However, Alabama added Kendrick Law from Louisiana to make it signee No. 23 for the Tide.
