Alabama picked up another prospect in its 2019 recruiting class on Friday evening.

This one comes right out of Ole Miss’ backyard.

Brandon Turnage, a 4-star wide receiver/safety, pledged his commitment to the Crimson Tide via Twitter.

Turnage is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete from Oxford, Miss. (Lafayette High School). He is rated as the nation’s No. 9 athlete and is the No. 6 prospect in the state of Mississippi, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Turnage also happens to be a Top 100 player in the entire country. He has additional offers from Ole Miss, Georgia, LSU and Michigan — among others.

He’s had an offer from Alabama since June, and has visited Tuscaloosa at least twice since then.

Alabama has the nation’s No. 2 class for the 2019 cycle. It already has six commits.

Turnage is the Tide’s second 2019 commit in as many days. On Thursday, Brendan Gant made his pledge.
