Former Alabama cornerback Brandon Turnage has reportedly found his new destination, and it’s not that far from Tuscaloosa, especially in terms of the annual schedule.

Turnage is reportedly in the process of joining Tennessee, according to a report from Matt Zenitz of On3Sports.

A redshirt freshman during the 2020 season, Turnage played in three career games, including two during the 2020-21 campaign, and registered one pass breakup against Mississippi State. Zenitz pointed out that Turnage originally planned to transfer to Georgia but now appears set to end up with the Vols. He originally entered transfer portal about two months ago.

Turnage was a 4-star recruit from the 2019 cycle. A native of Oxford, Miss., he was No. 11 cornerback and 102nd prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, while 247Sports itself ranked him as the No. 8 player in the state and the No. 13 cornerback.

Turnage’s transfer to Georgia changed after news surfaced that Georgia would land former Clemson All-ACC cornerback Derion Kendrick that he too was transferring to Georgia.

He was the rest of his bio fro Alabama:
