Former Alabama DB Jahquez Robinson has found a home out west. Robinson revealed Saturday that he is transferring to Colorado, where he’ll get to play one of the sport’s all-time great defensive backs, Deion Sanders.

Robinson announced his transfer commitment on Twitter.

Robinson spent 3 seasons at Alabama. Out of Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida, Robinson was rated 4-stars and the No. 296 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite. He chose the Crimson Tide over scholarship offers from 34 other programs.

Robinson played in just 8 games during his time in Tuscaloosa. He did not record any statistics in his first 2 seasons. This past season, Robinson made 6 appearances, recording 2 tackles, including 1 sack.

With the COVID-19 waiver for 2020 and a redshirt for 2021, Robinson has 3 seasons of remaining eligibility. He entered the transfer portal on April 18.
