Former Alabama WR Cam Sims will have a new NFL home ahead of the upcoming 2023 season.

Sims went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, eventually signing with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent.

He then carved out a nice career for himself in Washington, playing with the team for 5 seasons. Now, though, he’s officially on the move, as the Las Vegas Raiders announced on Twitter this week that they were signing the former Alabama player:

In his NFL career, Sims has 57 catches for 804 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also has 2 carries for 12 yards.

Sims was part of 2 College Football Playoff-winning teams during his time at Alabama (in 2015 and 2017). What kind of role he carves out for himself in 2023 remains to be seen, but the Raiders will be an interesting team to watch this fall.
