Greg McElroy thinks Bama will be back better than ever on Nov. 5, and will take home the win against the Tigers.

Although they may get the win, it won’t be an easy game for the Crimson Tide, according to McElroy, who shared his thoughts on “College Football Live.”

Alabama will face an LSU team that draws several parallels to the Tennessee team Alabama lost to in shocking fashion in Week 7. An excellent receiving corps, a dual threat quarterback, a solid defensive line, and a difficult playing environment will all be LSU obstacles to an Alabama win.

“If you look at the parallels of what Tennessee has, and what LSU has, the parallels are there,” McElroy said, including the hostile road environment. “… The parallels are very real.”

The Tigers are 1 of 3 teams in the SEC West that have just 1 conference loss, and are 7-1 on the season. LSU and Alabama each have 1 loss in SEC play, both to Tennessee, so this game will go a long way toward determining which team plays in Atlanta in the SEC Championship Game. The Tide and Tigers will meet in Death Valley a week from Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
