Greg McElroy says Iron Bowl is '5th-most intriguing game in the SEC' during Rivalry Week
This has been a great year for No. 1 Alabama. Meanwhile, things aren’t going so well for Gus Malzahn and the Auburn Tigers.
Therefore, this weekend’s Iron Bowl may turn ugly, even though Auburn upset Alabama last season.
On Monday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” former Alabama QB and current SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy said this year’s Iron Bowl is only the “fifth-most intriguing game in the SEC” during Week 13:
"I have a hard time thinking the #IronBowl is going to be competitive…it's the 5th most intriguing game in the SEC this weekend" – @GregMcElroy pic.twitter.com/xrjG4AYo5R

Obviously, these two teams still don’t like each other, so it should be intense early on. And, Auburn does have a good defense, so we’ll have to see if Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa is forced to play into the fourth quarter.
However, it’s possible that this game is over by halftime if Auburn’s offense continues its season-long struggles.
