For the past decade, Alabama has been the king of college football.

Fittingly, the school is building a veritable palace to house the program.

Phase I of renovations to Bryant-Denny Stadium are expected to cost $75.5 million, according to a report from AL.com. The Alabama board of trustees on Friday will vote on a resolution outlining the project.

According to the report, the resolution details funding of the renovations as such: $40.5 million from bonds, $25 million from the Crimson Tide Foundation and the remaining $10 million from reserve funds.

The first portion of the project will spruce up the upper deck in the south end zone and the Walk of Champions while transforming the press box into luxury suites.
