Jahvon Quinerly reportedly made a decision in regards to the 2023 season with Alabama on Friday, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. The Alabama guard told Rothstein about what’s next.

Quinerly will reportedly be entering his name into the 2023 NBA Draft, but will be maintaining his eligibility just in case. Quinerly averaged 8.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in 2022.

Quinerly’s college career started at Villanova. After playing in 25 games for the Wildcats, Quinerly transferred to Alabama the following season. He then had to sit out for a season before debuting for the Crimson Tide in 2020.

Right out of the gate Quinerly had an impact for Alabama. Quinerly averaged 12.9 points in 2021 and 13.8 points per game in 2022.

After being picked as the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, Alabama hoops made it to the Sweet 16 round of March Madness. The Crimson Tide went on to lose to San Diego State 71-64.

Quinerly will be joining his former teammate Brandon Miller by throwing his name into the ring for the 2023 NBA Draft. Miller averaged 18.8 points per game this season.

That is now two parts of Alabama’s starting lineup that are moving on to the professional level. Stay tuned for more updates.
