Jalen Hurts earned the NFC Offensive Player of the Month honor in September.

The Philadelphia Eagles are flying high as one of the top teams in the NFC and Hurts has been a major reason why the Eagles are undefeated. The Eagles jumped to 3-0 with a 24-8 road win over the Washington Commanders in Week 3.

In the win over the Commanders, Hurts threw for 340 yards and 3 touchdowns. He completed 22 of 35 attempted passes. This was the latest successful outing for Hurts in his 3rd NFL season. Through 3 games, Hurts has 4 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, and 916 passing yards.

He is a candidate for the 2022 NFL MVP and if he can continue this roll, he could be the 1st Eagle to win the award since Norm Van Brocklin in 1960. Hurts is attempting to improve his stats from the 2021 season, which was his 1st full season as a starter. In 2021, Hurts passed for 3,144 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions.

He clearly made improvements in the offseason and it showed in the 1st 3 games of the season. The Eagles surrounded Hurts with several weapons in AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Miles Sanders. The Eagles will be an entertaining watch for the rest of the season.

In Week 4, the Eagles are set to host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
