Jonah Williams was a key piece for the offensive line of the Cincinnati Bengals throughout the 2022 season. Unfortunately, he was injured in an earl NFL Playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens and missed last week’s win over the Buffalo Bills.

On Friday, Cincinnati released the team’s official injury report for the AFC Championship Game, and Williams will be unable to return with a shot to advance to another Super Bowl. Williams and fellow Bengal offensive lineman Alex Cappa were both unable to practice all week and will miss the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fortunately for the Bengals, those absences against the Bills did not slow down quarterback Joe Burrow or the offense. Burrow accounted for 242 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns in the dominant win over Buffalo and was sacked just once in the big win. He also added 31 yards rushing to his performance.

Williams’ injury against the Ravens was ruled a dislocated kneecap, the second time this season he has dealt with the setback. His status has been week-to-week, so he is not officially done for the year, but Cincinnati will need to advance to the Super Bowl for Williams to have a chance to return to action.
