Jonathan Allen calls out Washington after lopsided Peach Bowl win
Alabama DL Jonathan Allen isn’t normally one to make headlines with his words, but he certainly didn’t hold back on the Washington Huskies following the Crimson Tide’s 24-7 Peach Bowl victory on Saturday evening.
The Nagurski and Bednarik award winner was not impressed with the Huskies’ toughness in the moments after the win:

That wasn’t the first time on Saturday that Allen took Washington to task, though. He had some chirping to do at halftime, too:

Allen was flagged for a personal foul in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game after LB Reuben Foster took a seemingly unnecessary hit from a Washington lineman, but clearly the talented defender was already upset at the Huskies based on his halftime comments.
Whatever the Huskies did to anger Allen, it would be wise of the Clemson-Ohio State winner to try to stay on Allen’s good side ahead of the Jan. 9 national championship game.
