Kalen DeBoer shares inspirational message ahead of road test at Wisconsin
Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama Crimson Tide are gearing up for a tough road showdown against Wisconsin in Week 3.
Both teams enter the contest with a spotless record, but the Tide are seen as big favorites over their B1G opponent.
Ahead of the matchup, DeBoer spoke with the Crimson Tide Sports Network about enjoying playing on the road. The coach stressed that playing at home is ideal, but he embraces tough road atmospheres at is it brings the team closer together.
“We love playing at Bryant-Denny, there’s no doubt about that. The home-field advantage is amazing,” DeBoer explained. “But I think there’s something cool about going into another place and you know, kind of locking arms, or whatever the words are you want to use, and knowing it’s you versus everyone in there.”

This will be the first road game for DeBoer as the head coach at Alabama.
The Tide had no problems in Week 1, beating Western Kentucky 63-0. In Week 2, the team initially struggled against South Florida before pulling away late and escaping with a 42-16 victory.
The Badgers, meanwhile, had closer-than-expected games against both Western Michigan and South Dakota. Still, 2-0 is 2-0, and the Badgers would love nothing more than to knock off the Tide in Madison.
The teams will kick off from Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday at noon ET.
Maybe he knows Pac 12 Alabama fans don’t travel well, especially now that Pac 12 Alabama has fallen. But, I think the real reason is he can’t seem to motivate his players, so he has resorted to “us against the world”. Whatever works. Just don’t embarrass the SEC this weekend.
Lol you Vols are pretty darn good at just blathering nonsense
Well, he motivated his team enough to play in the CFP Championship game. How many coaches has UT had that managed that?
The pachyderms of Alabama will roll the hairy armadillos of Wisconsin. Leonard’s Looser; Wisconsin.
Another Leonard’s LOSER; fat fingered typing.
Code speak for if you suk on the road it’s less likely your team will be booed like they did at Saban Field at BD…
But with the nations number 1 ranked team talent group I could coach Bama to a 21 point win, so I say CKD and Bama by 38, call your bookie now and book it. Bet the trailer on it, donke.
