Kirk Herbstreit called the Ohio State-TCU game Saturday night, and the Buckeyes came away with an impressive 40-28 victory.

Following the game, the ESPN analyst and broadcaster revealed his top four teams after Week 3. The teams didn’t change; however, the order did.

Herbstreit ranked Alabama No. 1, and the Georgia Bulldogs jumped up to the No. 2 spot ahead of Clemson and Ohio State. Georgia was ranked below Clemson in Herbstreit’s rankings last Saturday. Clemson was ranked No. 3, while Ohio State was ranked No. 4 in Herbstreit’s updated top four.

The reason Georgia jumped? Herbstreit recalled the Bulldogs have looked dominant through three weeks. There’s little doubt these are the two best teams in the SEC. Paul Finebaum, however, says there’s another challenger to Alabama that’s not in the SEC.

Alabama torched Ole Miss 62-7 Saturday, while Georgia throttled Middle Tennessee 49-7. It seems these two teams are on a collision course in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game. However, both teams still have to play Auburn and LSU. The best schedule out of all four teams? LSU hosts both Alabama and Georgia in Tiger Stadium, which has to be a considered an advantage.
