LOOK: Alabama fans again call for Avery Johnson to be fired after loss to Arkansas
The Alabama Crimson Tide entered Saturday’s regular-season finale at Arkansas with a chance to take a big step toward earning an NCAA Tournament berth.
Instead, they fell to the Razorbacks 82-70 and will now be the No. 10 seed in the SEC Tournament. And, they’ll probably have to win a game or two in Nashville to even get back on the bubble.
After the game, Alabama fans were understandably upset with coach Avery Johnson. As you can see below, many decided to call for Johnson to be fired after the disappointing loss:

Alabama has quit under Avery Johnson. Embarrassing effort and display for this program. Byrne needs to work out whatever faux “retirement” package AJ wants to save face and move on to his own hire.

FIRE AVERY JOHNSON

The Tide fell to 17-14 with the loss and finished the year 8-10 in SEC play. There’s still more basketball to play, but the Tide may need some help to go to March Madness.
