It’s been a good season for former Alabama running backs in the NFL.

Entering Sunday, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry and Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs had each already eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the ground this year. And now, another former Crimson Tide standout has joined them.

Mark Ingram became the third former Alabama running back to rush for more than 1,000 yards this season as he reached the mark in the Baltimore Ravens’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. It’s the third time in the past four seasons that Ingram has rushed for more than 1,000 yards.

This is Ingram’s first year with the Ravens after he spent the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the New Orleans Saints. He was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 draft after he played at Alabama from 2008-10.

Ingram won the Heisman Trophy in 2009. Henry is also a former Heisman winner, winning the award in 2015.

Although Ingram eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the ground on Sunday, he wasn’t the first player on his team to achieve the feat this season. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson has also rushed for more than 1,000 yards this year.
