Nick Saban for Secretary of State? Mike Francesa says it makes as much since as the Cleveland Browns hiring Condoleezza Rice to be their next head coach.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter filed the head-turning report Sunday morning that the Browns want to interview Rice in regards to their head coaching vacancy. While some in sports media have speculated about a possible “CEO” head coach managing elite coordinators, the idea of Rice, who has no football coaching experience, on the sidelines is still too far out there for the vast majority of football fans and media members.

The news set Francesa, a New York radio host, off on quite an amusing rant. In addition to being unable to envision Rice coaching against Bill Belichick, Francesca also compares it to Alabama coach Nick Saban serving in President Donald Trump’s cabinet.
