The Alabama Crimson Tide saw their season come to an end on Sunday night in overtime against UCLA. The Tide fell to the Bruins in their Sweet 16 matchup.

But, it was still a great year for Alabama, making it to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2004. Plus, the Tide won the SEC regular-season and SEC Tournament titles.

Because of that great run, coach Nate Oats earned $225,000 in bonuses. AL.com’s Michael Casagrande breaks down how that bonus money was earned:

Oats has injected new life into the Crimson Tide program. And, he’ll have plenty of talent coming back in 2021-22.

We’ll see if he has more SEC Coach of the Year awards coming in the next few years.
