Nick Saban didn’t suffer any injuries during the field storming on Saturday at Tennessee, which was a contrast from last year at Texas A&M.

Saban said on the SEC coaches media teleconference on Wednesday that last year he suffered 3 bruises in College Station, but this year, he came away clean.

He also weighed in on field storming in general.

“I think it’s a difficult situation for the league,” he said. “… We certainly don’t condone any mistreatment of anybody, whether they should or shouldn’t be there. You have to have respect for people. But at the same time, it’s a difficult situation for all of us.”

Tyler Harrell, the Louisville transfer who has battled injuries, could become a factor soon for Alabama, the coach said. Known for his speed, Harrell suffered a foot injury in the preseason, and has not played this season.

“He’s been practicing,” Saban said. “He was actually available for the last game. … There’s a possibility he’s getting to the point where we can start to use him.”
