Former Alabama LB Reuben Foster is in a world of legal trouble after a recent domestic violence incident, and his future in the NFL is in question.
Naturally, since Foster is only one year removed from his Crimson Tide career, coach Nick Saban was asked about his former linebacker’s legal issues on Saturday.
Saban said that while he certainly doesn’t condone the behavior Foster has been accused of, he doesn’t know enough about the situation to comment on it specifically:
Nick Saban on Reuben Foster’s recent legal trouble: “I don’t think I’m in a position to comment because I don’t know the details. I don’t know the fact. … We’re going to remain supportive and help him in any way we can. We don’t condone this."

Saban has nothing to gain from commenting on his former player’s personal life, so it’s no surprise that he avoided the question.
Now, it’s up to Foster to turn his life around and keep his promising career from coming to an ugly end.
