Nick Saban discusses distribution of carries in Alabama's loaded backfield
The Alabama Crimson Tide have a lot of talent across the roster, but are particularly deep in the backfield.
Damien Harris is the presumed leader of the group, coming off of back-to-bak 1,000-yard seasons, but Najee Harris, Brian Robinson Jr. and Josh Jacobs have all gotten lots of work, too.
During his press conference on Wednesday, coach Nick Saban said all of them will continue to get work moving forward:
Nick Saban on the distribution of carries among the running backs: "We feel like we have three really good players. We want them all to contribute."

I mentioned four running backs earlier in the article, and all of them have at least 17 carries through three games, so it’s unclear who Saban left out.
However, in close games (if Alabama ever finds itself in one of those this year), it’s probably safe to assume that Damien Harris will be the main guy.
