What Nick Saban said during halftime while leading Washington 17-7

At halftime of the Peach Bowl, Alabama is currently leading Washington by a score of 17-7.

Running back Bo Scarbrough has been the story for the Crimson Tide in the first half — rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Ryan Anderson also had a pick-six for Alabama’s second score.

When asked about the first half, head coach Nick Saban had this to say:

Saban: "We haven't been able to get any rhythm going except on that one drive when we went fast & ran the ball. That's what we want to do."

Credit Washington’s defense for playing with considerable discipline and energy. The Huskies have held QB Jalen Hurts to only 32 yards passing, and Alabama’s offense as a whole has accrued only 138 yards.
