A trio of key Alabama players went down with injuries during the win over LSU on Saturday night.

WR Henry Ruggs III was helped off the field by trainers, while RB Najee Harris limped off with an apparent ankle sprain. Coach Nick Saban said after the game that both are fine, and there injuries don’t appear to be serious.

Ruggs’ injury came in the first half after an LSU defender stepped on him while he made a block on a 29-yard catch by WR Jerry Jeudy. Ruggs caught Alabama’s first touchdown of the game on a 15-yard pass from QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Saban also said that Tagovailoa has recovered from a knee sprain suffered against Missouri.

“He doesn’t have a knee injury anymore,” Saban said. “He’s recovered pretty well from that. and he looked like he could run pretty well to me. The bye week helped him but he’s made progress every week. part of that is regaining confidence and a run like that helps his confidence.”

Harris had six carries for 83 yards, while Ruggs had four catches for 55 yards.
