One of the biggest storylines of the upcoming SEC Media Days is the Alabama quarterback battle between Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa.

However, neither quarterback is coming to Atlanta for the event, and it’s unlikely that coach Nick Saban will say anything about the battle while he’s speaking on Wednesday.

That still won’t stop Paul Finebaum from asking the question, though, even if Saban’s handlers say media members aren’t allowed to ask about the battle:

“I’m sure (Saban)’ll put out an edict that you’re not allowed to ask that question, but I will,” he said on SportsCenter. “He’ll give the same answer he always gives, ‘It’s a competition, players help each other.’ Although, Tua is going to be the starter.”

Even though Finebaum doesn’t expect an answer, he predicts that the sophomore, Tagovailoa, will be named the starter eventually.

Finebaum and Saban have a bit of a history. Two years ago at Media Days, Saban took exception to something Finebaum said and went on one of his trademark rants against the ESPN host.
