Antonio Alfano was a 5-star defensive lineman and the highest-rated member of Alabama’s 2019 class.

However, he didn’t end up making an impact at Alabama, and eventually left the program under questionable circumstances.

On Saturday, AL.com’s Matt Zenitz reported that Alfano was looking at Colorado, a Pac-12 program, as a potential transfer destination:

The Buffaloes hired former Georgia DC Mel Tucker as their head coach this offseason, and are currently 3-5 in 2019. Alfano would be a huge boost to their defense if he shows up and plays when he’s eligible.

During the 2019 cycle, Alfano was the No. 5 overall recruit in the class, the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and the No. 1 overall prospect from New Jersey, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
