Former Alabama LB Reuben Foster has reportedly made bail after being formally charged with multiple domestic violence felonies Thursday.

According to reports from the court house, Foster’s bail was set at $75,000. He was also ordered to have no contact with the girlfriend accusing him of domestic violence. At this time, Foster has not entered a plea. The plea hearing was reportedly delayed until April 30.

Since Foster, a product of Auburn High School, does not have family in California, two of his 49ers teammates, Richard Sherman and Jaquiski Tartt, went to the courthouse to offer support, according to Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee.

“Just as a teammate, you want to be there for support,” Sherman told Barrows. “We don’t know what happened. I’m not judging the circumstances. I’m just trying to support him.”

Foster faces felony charges of domestic violence with an allegation that he inflicted great bodily injury, forcefully attempted to prevent a victim from reporting a crime and possessed an assault weapon. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years and eight months in prison.

The 49ers responded to the news earlier Thursday.
