Former Alabama WR Amari Cooper is on the move.

Josina Anderson and Adam Schefter are both reporting that the Oakland Raiders have traded Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys. Cooper comes to the Cowboys at a high price, as the reports are Oakland will be receiving a first-round draft pick in the deal.

The Raiders believed Cooper’s resume warranted a high asking price. In his fourth season, the 24-year-old Cooper has recorded 225 receptions for 3,183 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Dallas offense has been in desperate need of a new go-to wideout after parting with Dez Bryant.

Cooper has yet to look like the 1,000-yard/season receiver in 2018. He has played in six games, posting 22 catches for 280 yards and one touchdown. Dallas is clearly banking on Cooper returning to 2015-17 form.
