Robert Foster returned to the NFL on Tuesday, as the Indianapolis Colts signed the former Alabama wide receiver to their practice squad.

Foster, who originally made the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills in 2018, has played in 30 career games (7 starts) in his time with the New York Giants (2022), Dallas Cowboys (2021-22), Miami Dolphins (2021), Washington Commanders (2020), Green Bay Packers (2020) and Buffalo Bills (2018-20).

He has totaled 32 receptions for 642 yards and 3 touchdowns. Foster has also registered 2 carries for 29 yards and 6 special teams tackles. He has appeared in one postseason contest.

Foster was most recently with the Giants, but was released late last month from their practice squad.

At Alabama in his final season in 2017, Foster made 14 catches for 174 yards and a touchdown on the season, rushed once for 12 yards and caught at least one pass in 9 of the Tide’s 14 games during his senior campaign.
