Roll 'Skins? Washington reportedly signing ex-Alabama S Landon Collins to massive contract
Jonathan Allen. Ryan Anderson. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Shaun Dion Hamilton. Da’Ron Payne.
Those are the former Alabama defenders currently on the Washington Redskins’ roster. Oh, and they have OL Arie Kouandjio and WR Cam Sims on offense.
Now, they’re reportedly adding one more defender — former New York Giants S Landon Collins. Collins, one of the best safeties in the NFL, will get a massive contract, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
Sources: Former #Giants star S Landon Collins is signing a 6-year deal for a whopping $84M with the rival #Redskins. Hard to imagine a box safety with this kind of deal after last year’s slow safety market. This moves the market dramatically.

That 6-year, $84 million contract works out to $14 million per year — a huge amount for a defensive back.
Oh, and of course the Redskins are also in the mix for former Alabama LB C.J. Mosley, who is a free agent after spending the first five years of his career with the Baltimore Ravens:
The #Redskins are actively shopping several players — including LBs Zach Brown and Mason Foster — in trade talks and are strong players for C.J. Mosley, sources say. #Ravens have hoped to retain him, but Mosley has a huge market. Washington would need cap space to do it.

Alabama fans may just have a new favorite NFL team after all these potential signings.
