Nick Saban has been on an incredibly dominant run at Alabama, but one interesting stat about Auburn could paint a scary picture for the Tide in this year’s Iron Bowl.

According to Paul Finebaum, Saban has never beaten an Auburn team that has finished a season with at least nine wins. Going all the way back to his time with LSU, Saban is 0-6 against Auburn teams that have gone on to win at least nine games in a season. The Tigers are already 9-2 heading into this year’s matchup.

The most recent meeting with a nine-win Auburn team came in 2013. Most fans likely remember that 2013 was the year of the infamous “Kick Six” play that saw the Tigers return Alabama’s last second field goal for a touchdown and the win.

Finebaum shared the graphic of Saban’s struggles on Twitter:

Alabama is certainly having a strong season, but it will be a tough task to take down Auburn in Jordan-Hare Stadium with the way the Tigers are playing.

Saturday’s kickoff for this year’s Iron Bowl is set for 3:30 pm EST on CBS.
