The Baltimore Ravens picked Alabama LB/DE Tim Williams in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, but he struggled in his first year as a pro, recording only six total tackles.

Entering the 2018 season, Williams is looking to make more of an impact, and he showed flashes of brilliance in the Ravens’ win over the Los Angeles Rams last week, recording five tackles and a sack.

Heading into the Ravens’ third preseason matchup, Williams said he’s feeling more confident in the Ravens’ system, adding that he’s playing like he did at Alabama (via BaltimoreRavens.com):

“I’m [more] comfortable. My second year, I know what to expect. You can’t catch me off my heels now – I’m back on my Alabama stuff.”

The Ravens need Williams to develop into more of a pass-rushing threat this season, so him recording a sack is a good sign.

Now, he just needs to build off that success, and he can start on Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts.
