Tino Sunseri’s time in Knoxville has come to an end.

The former Tennessee quality control analyst announced his departure from Jeremy Pruitt’s program on Wednesday after landing a role on Nick Saban’s Alabama staff. The Crimson Tide already have his father, Sal, and his brother, Vinnie, on staff. All three Sunseri family members have landed roles on Alabama’s coaching staff this offseason.

Sunseri was hired by Pruitt off of Jimbo Fisher’s Florida State staff last January. Sunseri is a former Pitt quarterback and was a quality control assistant in Tallahassee.

In addition to his knowledge of offensive recruiting, Sunseri is noted as a rising recruiter in the college football coaching world.

While Sunseri does not specify his role with the Tide, with Alabama currently having 11 on-the-field coaches on staff, which is one over the limit for recruiting and for coaching players during the season, expect his new role in Tuscaloosa to be in a support staff role.
