Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa received high praise from Bills quarterback Josh Allen ahead of Miami’s game against Buffalo on Sunday.

Allen praised Tagovailoa for his recent “fantastic” play and how the Dolphins QB has handled criticism.

Allen said he could relate to Tagovailoa as both players received their fair share of hate and criticism entering the league.

Tagovailoa had a career game Sunday against Baltimore, posting 469 yards and 6 touchdowns. Last season, Tagovailoa threw for 2,653 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Allen is also having a great season so far, posting 614 yards and 7 touchdowns through two games.

Tagovailoa played at Alabama from 2017 to 2019, where he was a part of Alabama’s National Championship team in 2017.
