Tyler Steen will enter the 2023 Senior Bowl and will start preparing for the 2023 NFL Draft.

This move will effectively end Steen’s collegiate career. He accepted the Senior Bowl’s invitation for this year’s game. Steen was an offensive lineman at Alabama for 1 season and had an option to return for his 6th year of college football. Instead, Steen will start getting ready for a professional career in football.

The 2022 season was Steen’s 1st and only season at Alabama. In April 2022, Steen transferred from Vanderbilt to Alabama for his 5th and final season of college.

When Steen was leaving Vanderbilt, he was one of the top offensive linemen in the transfer portal for the 2022 season. He previously played at Vanderbilt for 4 seasons from 2018 to 2021. Steen picked Alabama over several other schools. The offensive tackle had transfer offers from Kentucky, LSU, NC State, Virginia, and UCLA. He decided to attend Alabama over the other programs.

Before he left Vanderbilt, Steen finished his time with the Commodores as a constant presence on the offensive line. He made 33 consecutive starts at Vanderbilt before he left for the Crimson Tide. He will be a valued prospect in the upcoming draft.

The Senior Bowl will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
