The SEC West Division — and perhaps a College Football Playoff berth — will be on the line this weekend, as No. 1 Alabama hosts No. 6 Texas A&M in a battle of unbeaten programs.

Nick Saban’s team has steamrolled opponents for much of this season — including last week’s 49-10 pasting of a battered Tennessee squad.

Perhaps surprising to some, the Aggies have gone unscathed up to this point — led by the efforts of graduate transfer QB Trevor Knight and true freshman star RB Trayveon Williams.

Although this is a matchup between two top-10 programs, Alabama was initially made a 17-point favorite by Las Vegas once the first set of odds were announced.

Now on Tuesday, have the oddsmakers altered the line at all?

In one word, yes. According to Odds Shark, Alabama is as high as a 19-point favorite by some betting institutions. It appears as if Vegas is either supremely bullish on Alabama’s chances, or that it feels Kevin Sumlin’s team may be a bit overrated.

Regardless, it’s a fascinating storyline heading into this tantalizing weekend.
